Eminem Ties Jay Z For Top Ten Songs Record

Eminem is coming off a contribution to Logic’s album Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind and now he ties Jay Z for a top ten songs record.

Slim Shady and Hov are tied at 21 tracks each on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart lifetime after Logic’s “Homicide” debuted at number five this week. This puts both iconic rappers in third place overall behind Lil Wayne in second with 24 and Drake in first with 33.

Eminem has had five number one singles “Love The Way You Lie,” “The Monster,” “Lose Yourself,” “Crack A Bottle,” and “Not Afraid.”

Shawn Carter has reached the top spot four times on Rihanna’s “Umbrella,” Beyoncé’s “Crazy In Love,” Mariah Carey’s “Heartbreaker,” and “Empire State Of Mind” with Alicia Keys.

Marshall Mathers released his RIAA platinum-certified LP Kamikaze last year and had a public beef with Machine Gun Kelly. He also recorded “Venom” for the film’s official soundtrack.

Congratulations to Eminem on tying Jay Z for third-most top ten Hot 100 songs ever.
