Wiz Khalifa is launching his own documentary series Wiz Khalifa: Behind The Cam with Apple Music and now we have an official trailer.
The five-part film follows Wiz’s career from the early days struggling to his immense success today. It includes interviews with his peers, family, and others who have helped him rise to the top. Taylor Gang, SMAC Entertainment, Dirty Robber, Gotham Chopra, and Atlantic Records serve as producers. Chopra and Dirty Robber are coming off award nominations for their work on Shut Up And Dribble and Tom vs. Time.
Wiz Khalifa says this about Behind The Cam:
“Taylor Gang has been with me since the start, so I wanted to make something to show just how far we’ve come.”
Executive producer Michael Strahan adds:
“Wiz and I both share a passion for family, friendship and hard work, and that’s exactly what you’ll see from him in this series. We’re excited to team up with Apple Music and give the world an intimate look into the rise of an entertainment icon.”
Wiz Khalifa recently appeared in Baby Goth’s video for “Sugar” and he dropped footage supporting “Getting Loose” with Currensy and Problem last month. The Pittsburgh artist was also featured on GRiZ’s new album Ride Waves.
