The project contains 14 songs and has no listed features allowing the rising 17-year-old star to properly introduce herself uninterrupted.
The Darkroom / Interscope Records artist recently spoke to Zane Lowe about her LP saying:
“With this album, the main thing we tried to do was have every single song sound completely different than everything else. If you put 14 people who like different genres into a room and plop WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? in front of them, I want every single person in that room to like at least one song.”
On “wish you were gay” she elaborated:
“It’s a selfish song. It’s a goofy, selfish joke. It’s like, I wish for my own sake that you didn’t like me because you don’t like girls. Not because it’s anything to do with me.”
Eilish warmed fans up with “bury a friend,”“wish you were gay,”“you should see me in a crown,” and “when the party’s over.” The first song also got some spooky Michael Chaves-directed visuals inspired by the LP’s artwork.
Billie will soon be hitting the road with Denzel Curry for her When We All Fall Asleep world tour. She’ll visit San Francisco, Portland, Vancouver, Redmond, Salt Lake City, Morrison, Kansas City, Minneapolis, Chicago, Toronto, Laval, Boston, Philadelphia, New York, Washington, Nashville, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and San Diego between May 29th and July 13th.
