Meek Mill – Free Meek (Trailer)

Meek Mill and Amazon have teamed up for their Free Meek documentary series and now we have an official trailer.

The program follows Meek’s trials and tribulations through his own experience in the Philadelphia criminal justice system. He exposes the many flaws catching people in what feels like a trap and gives viewers an inside look into his life. Jay Z, Eli Holzman, Aaron Saidman, and Paul and Isaac Solotaroff serve as executive producers.

The MMG rapper and Jay Z are working with Michael Rubin to reform the system in Philadelphia with a lot of help from local politicians and others. Their main focus is probation and parole which is where most people are struggling. Meek was arrested for breaking the terms of his probation after riding a dirt bike in August, 2017. He got out of prison the following April and has been campaigning for change ever since.

Meek Mill’s efforts have not gone unnoticed as the Championships artist was blessed with his own weekend in Philadelphia (March 15th – 17th). Part of the celebration included a stop on his The Motivation Tour. You can grab tickets for other dates here.

In related news, Nipsey Hussle recently announced that he and the Dreamchasers artist are working on a collaborative album. It should arrive sometime this year.

Watch the trailer for the six-part Free Meek series below. It will air on Amazon Prime in the latter part of 2019. Championships is available on Apple Music, Spotify, and other digital services now.
