Nipsey Hussle Announces Album With Meek Mill

Nipsey Hussle is coming off a video for “Racks In The Middle” and now he announces a forthcoming album with Meek Mill.

The West Coast artist recently took interviews with Real 92.3 and Big Boy TV where he spoke about his GRAMMY nomination, Cardi B winning, importance of Victory Lap, buying property, growing up in Crenshaw, hindsight, setting goals, “FDT “ with YG, slapping a man at the BET Awards, and more.

On the project with Meek Mill he said:

“We’ve been cutting ideas and just getting in. We got a couple records that’s going to go off for the summer. It’s not hard at all we just got to lock in and get the records done. We working right now as we speak. We on album time right now. Next thing we going to put out musically is an album.”

The Dreamchasers rapper later confirmed the news on Twitter:

Nipsey is working on a sophomore album, which he’s been priming with “Racks In The Middle.” It’s going to be difficult to top the response he got from Victory Lap, but if the aforementioned song is any indication he’s on the right path. Fans can expect to hear him on DJ Khaled’s awaited LP Father Of Asahd, set to arrive in May.

Meek Mill is coming off his first live performance of “24/7” with Ella Mai. The song lands on his fourth studio album Championships featuring Drake, Fabolous, Cardi B, Jay Z, Rick Ross, Young Thug, and more. Nipsey also appears as a cameo in Meek and Drizzy’s new video for “Going Bad.”

Watch the interviews below and expect a Nipsey Hussle and Meek Mill album to arrive later this year.
