YNW Melly Accused Of Driving Around With Dead Friends

YNW Melly is awaiting trial over his double homicide charges and now more evidence has come to surface.

It’s being reported that Melly’s alleged accomplice Cortlen Henry was the one who drove their friends Anthony Williams (YNW Sakchaser) and Christopher Thomas Jr. (YNW Juvy) to a local ER after what they said was a drive-by shooting. According to Melly (Jamell Demons) and Cortlen’s booking reports they were coming from a studio session when their car was shot at on the highway. The bullets hit Williams and Thomas Jr. in the head, torso, and back causing them both to bleed out before medical aid could be given. A police investigation has determined that the first shot was fired from inside the vehicle and the others which all penetrated the passenger (right) side of the car, came from outside. The casings all match and eight of the nine were found at a different location.

Authorities have obtained surveillance footage from the studio and confirmed that YNW Melly did sit in the left back seat where the previously mentioned first bullet casing was found. Demons and Henry are also accused of driving around with their deceased friends for some time before taking them to the hospital.

Melly claimed his innocence before going to jail saying:

“To all my fans and supporters no I did not get locked up in Washington, but I am turning myself in today. I want you guys to know I love you and appreciate every single one of y’all. A couple months ago I lost my two brothers by violence and now the system want to find justice.. Unfortunately a lot of rumors and lies are being said but no worries god is with me and my brother @ynw.bortlen and we want y’all to remember it’s a YNW Family. I love you @ynwsakchaser1 and @ynwjuvy #freeus”

YNW Melly released his sophomore album We All Shine last month containing the popular song “Mixed Personalities” featuring Kanye West. He was supposed to go on its supportive tour with Asian Doll, however that’s unlikely at this point.
