Nicki Minaj Drops Out Of BET Experience Concert & Awards

Nicki Minaj was supposed to headline her own concert at the upcoming BET Experience weekend, but now she’s dropped out.

Following Cardi B’s success at the GRAMMY Awards, BET tweeted a very disrespectful message about Minaj saying:

“Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj is being dragged by her lacefront.”

This sent the Queen rapper into a rage and she began to share her disgust with BET on social media. She told fans to get refunds and had a few words of her own stating:

“Young Money will no longer be a part of the BET Experience or award show. ♥️🙏🏽♥️ Summer Tour dates dropping soon 🦄. Meanwhile, BET is being dragged by their lace front. 🤣.”

“I can’t thank you guys enough for all the love & support you continue to show me. To everyone who said something sweet, thank you. Whether I read it or not, I felt it. From the bottom of my heart. I love you so much. So so so soooo much. Stay tuned.”

Nicki also posted a list of the RIAA’s top-selling artist this decade to her Instagram (she sits in second behind Drake) along with a message reading:

“Thank you for the continued support. 🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🙏🏽 I never see the men on this list being disrespected. I’ll continue to keep my integrity & push my pen. It’s a promise I made to myself in ’07 when I was selling my tapes out my trunk.”

Minaj was set to perform on Friday, June 21st as the headliner for Lil Wayne, Tory Lanez, Trippie Redd, and Bri Steves. Cardi B will ironically take over the stage Saturday with Migos, Lil Yachty, City Girls, and Lil Baby.

Nicki is preparing for The Nicki WRLD Tour with Juice WRLD. She’s released a video for “Hard White” and remixes of “Going Bad,” “Drip Too Hard,” and “Thotiana” this month as well.

In related news, the Young Money rapper is going after GRAMMY producer Ken Ehrlich after causing Ariana Grande to cancel her performance last night. Minaj will air out her own dirty laundry with Ken on the next episode of Queen Radio as she tweets:

“I pissed off the same man Ariana just called out for lying. Grammy producer KEN. I was bullied into staying quiet for seven years out of fear. But I’ll tell my fans the REAL on the next episode of #QueenRadio they deserve the truth. Also, CONGRATS to everyone who won last night. 🙏🏽”
