Brooklyn musician Daniel Hernandez aka 6ix9ine was arrested in New York City last night (November 18th) on federal gun and racketeering charges.
The Scum Gang rapper recently appeared on The Breakfast Club after firing all of his management staff, but apparently the move has come too late as the talented artist and controversial star has been implicated in some serious crimes.
6ix9ine’s ex-manager Shottie, real name Kifano Jordan, and their associates Faheem Walter (aka Crippy) and Jensel Butler (aka Ish) were also arrested, according to TMZ.
The investigation that led to Tekashi’s arrest was conducted by the U.S. Attorney’s office with the NYPD, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and Homeland Security Investigations. It seems like a lot of people in positions of power are pouring resources into derailing his highly successful career.
6ix9ine is currently on probation and has another pending case. In January he was seen putting hands on a 16-year-old at the Galleria Mall in Houston, Texas but was able to settle out of court and seems to be on good terms with the kid.
In October, 2015 he plead guilty to use of a child in a sexual performance, but avoided jail time after agreeing to stay out of trouble for the next two years.
