Jim Jones was arrested after a police chase in Georgia earlier this year and now he’s facing multiple felony charges.
TMZ reports that the Wasted Talent rapper has been slapped with three counts of possession of a controlled substance, two for possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and a misdemeanor for possession of marijuana. He could be facing up to decades behind bars.
The incident happened back in June when Jim was the passenger of a speeding vehicle, which hit a deputy’s car and resulted in the discovery of various drugs, firearms, and paraphernalia. Jones had a prescription for the oxycodone and percocet, but couldn’t account for the rest. At the time he was released on $7000 bail.
Check back for more information after his hearing later this month. Wasted Talent is available on Apple Music, Spotify, and other digital platforms now.
