Lil Yachty To Star In MTV’s “How High 2” Movie

Lil Yachty recently teamed up with D Savage for “No Smoke” and now he announces that he’s starring in MTV’s upcoming How High 2 movie.

The Quality Control artist took to social media earlier today to reveal that filming is now underway. Yachty takes on the role of Roger, a young entrepreneur and little brother to one of the original film’s protagonists, but it’s unconfirmed whether it will be Method Man or Redman. Roger uses the sale of hash to fund his on-demand munchies delivery service while he’s trying to get it off the ground.

This isn’t the Atlanta rapper’s first acting role as he’s already appeared in George Lopez’s series Lopez, was the voice for Green Lantern in Teen Titans Go! To The Movies, joined Carly Rae Jepson in a Target campaign, and was featured in a Sprite ad with LeBron James. Yachty is also working on a new album called Nuthin’ 2 Prove, the follow up to Lil Boat 2..

Watch Lil Yachty’s announcement below and expect How High 2 to hit theaters sometime in 2019.
