YG is trying to prepare for the release of his awaited album Stay Dangerous, but the Compton rapper was unfortunately arrested for robbery yesterday.
TMZ reports that a warrant for YG’s arrest was issued in Las Vegas over an incident that occurred back in May. YG was allegedly approached by a fan at the Cosmopolitan who wanted to take a photo, however his security denied the interaction causing the individual to call him a fake celebrity.
According to video surveillance, YG proceeded to exchange words with the man before stealing the chain from around his neck. The “Big Bank” artist chose to turn himself in and is now facing a felony robbery charge along with a lawsuit for over $250,000 as the victim claims he was beat up by YG’s goons.
Check back for more information as the case develops and expect Stay Dangerous to arrive on August 3rd. YG is currently out on $20,000 bail.
