Jim Jones released a video for his Wasted Talent album track “Epitome” earlier today and now its been announced that he was arrested on multiple felony charges in Georgia.
TMZ reports that Jim was in car that police attempted to pull over, but the driver decided to speed off. After striking a deputy’s vehicle they came to a stop and authorities found marijuana, oxycodone, percocet, vaporizer cartridges, THC oil, cash, and two loaded pistols (one of which was stolen).
Jim claimed he asked the driver to pull over, but she was “incoherent.” He also took ownership of the oxy and percocet as he had a prescription for both, but when no one else admitted to the rest, police charged them all with possession of a stolen gun, possession of a firearm during commission of a crime, and possession of narcotics. Jones was also hit with a misdemeanor for having his pills out of their original case and has since been released on $7000 bail.
Hopefully Jim Jones can clear his felony charges and continue to focus on music. Wasted Talent is available on Apple Music, Spotify, and other digital services now.
