Lil Boosie has been a hot topic of conversation since his release from prison earlier this year. This week he took the opportunity to let the people at Complex know he was dropping a new album on July 15th, but neglected to mention the title. Yesterday Boosie told the crew at 106&Park that the name of his new disc will be Touchdown 2: Cause Hell and had this to say about it:
“It’s a classic man. You know, I ain’t wanna come home and play with the mixtape game and all of that. I wanted to come home and hit ’em hard, get that machine behind it, be successful and show the world.”
With well over one thousand tracks he wrote while incarcerated to choose from, and collaborations with the rap game’s top hitters like T.I., 2 Chainz, and Young Jeezy, we can definitely look forward what Boosie says could be the best album in a decade. The Louisiana rapper also plans to release a second album in December this year.
Boosie Bad Azz has been in New York this week doing radio interviews and today he stopped by Sway In The Morning to talk about being away from his family, the tracks he wrote in prison, and the do’s and do not’s while locked up.
