Drake released his popular “God’s Plan” music video showcasing various charitable donations last week and recently had to check Hot 97 personality Peter Rosenberg after some unfavorable comments were made.
Rosenberg detailed the experience by saying that Drizzy called him infuriated asking what his problem is, why he’s being negative about such a positive thing, spoke on their troubled past, his passion about “God’s Plan,” and the dynamics of doing charity for notoriety. Peter hasn’t changed his stance on the matter however as he discussed how the video could have been shot differently in a post phone call interview.
In other news Drake is rumored to be leaving his endorsement contract with Nike/Air Jordan to join Kanye West, Pharrell, and other hip hop tycoons at adidas. The OVOSound General has been with the brand since 2013 and most recently wore their apparel in the “God’s Plan” and “Look Alive” videos.
Watch Rosenberg air out their dirty laundry below and check back for more information on Drake’s future with Nike. Scary Hours is available on Apple Music, iTunes, Spotify, and other digital services now.
