The Bay Area installment of Rolling Loud Festival is going down this weekend, but not without some drama.
Local treasure Lil B The Based God was set to perform at the event but had to pull out last minute after being allegedly jumped by A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and his crew.
“Hey man, A Boogie and his whole crew just jumped me in the back, man,” Lil B told the audience. “That shit crazy, man. But I’ma tell y’all like this, it’s all love. I don’t promote violence, I’m never with the violence. So I love them and it’s all good, you feel me? It’s all good. I said something about Boogie’s music, and they all got mad and they jumped me.”
“I’m still here,” he continued. “I got jumped by like 10 motherf*ckers. Me by myself. It’s all love, though, like I said it’s all love. And I got love for everybody. So I just wanted to tell y’all because they stole my sh*t and everything so I can’t even do my show. Hey, but I say it’s all love though and I love them and I love y’all. This is just a testament to show just because somebody do something to y’all don’t mean you got to retaliate. It don’t matter. God is good, I’m alive. We all alive! It’s your boy, Lil B, shoutouts to the Based God! I’m about to hit this doctor make sure I’m all good, man. These ni**as fucked me up. Let’s get it.”
Fans in attendance also claim PnB Rock was involved in the altercation, but the only available footage is inconclusive.
A Boogie added to the suspicion by posting a photo of himself with PnB Rock and the caption “That’s My Dawg.”
UPDATE: PnB Rock has been dropped from the Rolling Loud lineup.
UPDATE #2: A Boogie and Lil B have settled their differences.
