Despite many people’s hopes that he’d cut back on Twitter once he took office, President Donald Trump has continued to use his social media accounts to berate opposition and push political agendas.
Trump isn’t the only one with a message to share however, as Snoop Dogg recently made headlines for shooting a gun loaded with a “bang” flag at a clown-faced caricature of the President in the new music video for BADBADNOTGOOD’s“Lavender” remix.
Can you imagine what the outcry would be if @SnoopDogg, failing career and all, had aimed and fired the gun at President Obama? Jail time!
Of course, this sparked outrage from Trump, who suggested that if Snoop Dogg had made a similar political statement against President Obama he would have been put in jail.
Florida senator Marco Rubio also chimed in on the matter commenting, “Snoop shouldn’t have done that. We’ve had presidents assassinated before in this country, so anything like that is something people should really careful about.”
