Mir Fontane released a video for his Who’s Watching The Kids mixtape cut “Down By The River” last month, and now moves on to new material with the release of “Still In The Hood.”
Fontane had this to say about the song and his deal with 300 Entertainment, “Still in the Hood was a spontaneous track that I made shortly after signing. I signed, but not much has changed just yet. My surroundings haven’t changed. I’m still in the hood. The song is celebratory, while still humbling because though I’ve signed a deal, I’m not where I want to be in life just yet. Signing to 300 was the first step towards a lot of things. I want to accomplish in life. It’s a validation of all the hard work I’ve put in thus far. It’s a great feeling, but I know there’s still so much more to be done.”
