The New York Times reports that over a dozen people from around the country were arrested in Paris this morning as part of an ongoing investigation. DNA and video evidence from the scene where Kim was robbed of nine million dollars in jewelry was used to narrow officials’ search over the past three months.
French authorities believe this investigation has lead them to an even larger criminal enterprise, as those apprehended range a variety of ages all the way into their 70s. Five of the accused are thought to have actually been in the home when Kim was bound and gagged, while others are believed to be involved in the distribution and sale of the jewelry.
Although no charges have been laid at this time, officials have four days to prove their case.
Watch Kim relive the moment on a recently released teaser clip for the upcoming season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians below.
