Last night, PARTNEXTDOOR and Jeremih’s Summer’s Over Tour rolled in to Houston, Teaxas, but Jeremih was seemingly nowhere to be found.
Fans who were in attendance are complaining that it was actually a stunt double who was performing Jeremih’s songs, an accusation that follows an event in Chicago earlier this week during which Jeremih dropped the mic and left the stage. He later tweeted, “Truth is ‘they’ didnt want me 2 perform tonight.. it sad people will take ur money and blatantly make it seem like I only want to do 2 songs.”
Bossip claims that a source close to Jeremih says he’s upset about being PND’s opener, and believes they should be co-headlining.
Watch a video from the event below to decide for yourself. Also included are some fan reactions.
UPDATE: Jeremih dissed PARTYNEXTDOOR at their tour stop in Dallas this evening. I added the footage underneath the lookalike video.
UPDATE #2: Live Nation has issued a statement saying Jeremih has been officially removed from the tour.
“Live Nation’s top priority is helping artists and performers create great shows for their fans. With this in mind, we’ve decided it’s best for the Summer’s Over Tour to continue without Jeremih, effective immediately. After multiple incidents we are left with no other choice. We do not support these actions or take these actions lightly. Ticketholders may request a full refund at point of purchase, which will forfeit access to the entire show. No partial refunds will be issued.”
