Last night, Funkmaster Flex decided he was fed up with Jay Z and Life+Times, spiraling into a rant and calling the rap legend’s website “trash.”
The issues began during an old interview Life+Times did with Funkmaster Flex about his mobile app. The DJ claims that instead of publishing some parts of their chat, Jay’s publication used the information he gave them to create their own application.
Yesterday, Funkmaster Flex received an email about his involvement with the Dipset reunion from a Life+Times writer, which came as a surprise to him since he was not allowed to play any Dipset music during his time spent at the 40/40.
Hear what Flex had to say and see the email below.
UPDATE: Funkmaster Flex went on another rant today, saying Hot 97 doesn’t need Jay Z and that he’s a “corporate rapper.”
