Drake just keeps adding fuel to the fire in his feud with Roc-a-fella Records head Jay Z. The Toronto Raptors Global Ambassador sat down with Canadian TSN analysts during the third quarter of the Toronto Raptors/Brooklyn Nets first playoff game yesterday to make a statement about Brooklyn’s former owner: “This (Raptors) is the people’s team. Jay is somewhere eating a fondue plate. It’s our time, we got to keep it competitive.” This comes just days after Hov threw shade at Drake via a freestyle with Jay Electronica over the “We Made It” instrumental with the lyrics “Sorry Mrs. Drizzy for so much art talk, silly me rappin’ ’bout shit that I really bought, while these rappers rap about guns they ain’t shot.” Mrs. Drizzy quickly responded to Jay on his “Draft Day” freestyle with the line “I heard they talking crazy, I was out of town. You know they love to pop all that s**t when I’m not around, but when I’m here, psst, not a sound.” The child actor, turned rap mogul may be biting off a little more than he can chew this time. Oh yeah, and the Raptors lost game one 94-87.
